Bicycling is Instrumental in Your Fitness

Bicycling is great for getting back into shape. Many of us owned one when we were a kid. There is no better way to increase our fitness and better our health than go back to our youth.

There are many reasons and benefits from this type of exercise but first make sure you get the right sized bike for yourself. They can be inexpensive or you can spend a lot, but if the size is wrong you will be disappointed.

Now let us go to reasons and benefits:

1. Building endurance. If you have an ailment such as bad knees this could be your answer for jogging. Building your stamina through this type of cardiovascular training can burn many calories.

2. Building your social relationships. I highly recommend riding through out the neighbor hoods and such over stationary bikes. I have both and I prefer to ride and meet people instead of staying home and riding. That just is me. If you prefer a stationary model then that is ok. That is what is good about this sport. It is up to you.

3. Have you seen the gas prices? Enough said.

4. It is a stress buster. Accomplishment is needed in everyone's life. Once you have finished your ride you accomplished something.

Take this exercise seriously, but have fun. You have many options such as a stationary, a real bike or a spinner class. spinner class.
