Calorie Counting Diet

The fastest way to lose weight is through a calorie counting diet. If you employ subtle changes in your diet you can lose quiet a few pounds in a relative short period of time. Now does that interest you?
What is a calorie? A calorie is a unit of measurement of heat to produce energy to function. Your body needs calories but not too many because if they don't get burned or used they become stored energy, which we call fat.
Each pound that you weigh is equivalent to 3500 calories. So therefore if you want to
lose a pound per week
you must remove 3500 calories out of your diet per week. If you utilize calorie counting cutting 3500 calories will be easy to do.
Sometimes you may ask yourself,"how can I lose weight?" There are a few tricks you can do to cut those calories without changing your whole diet:
1. Drink more water. Drink a glass of water 20 minutes before each meal. It takes the brain at least 20 minutes to realize that it is full.
2. Leave the last few bites of your dinner on the plate. Get used to eating smaller portions.
3. When eating a snack such as potato chips. Fill a small cup and eat from the cup instead of the bag.
4. Change from regular soda to diet soda.
5. Remove the sugar out of your coffee. Change to one of the alternative sweeteners.
