Easy Weight Loss

Easy weight loss does have challenges. But they are nothing that you can not overcome from Fitness Success and the videos on your fitness pal website. One of the challenges is to lose weight while staying healthy. The quick lose weight diet plans or "Crash" diets emphasize pounds lost over health.
That is why I hate the “crash diet” because they sometimes are not healthy. First, you have to have realistic expectations. Second you have to maintain your health. Finally, third, you have to be able to sustain your bodily functions.
Let us look at the first challenge to weight loss. You have to be realistic in your expectations of losing weight. As a general rule, if it took you a year to put the weight on then it will probably take a year for your body to adjust to the weight change. Let me explain, when you initiate a proper
diet plan
you will be cutting back the calories and eliminate the bad foods and drinks (soda or beer) right from the start. You will see a significant weight loss rather quickly. Utilizing the diet plan and an exercise plan you will continue to lose fat and gain muscle. Over a period of time you body will go to a more natural size using the diet and your metabolic rate from exercise. That is why many who I have worked with say they are continuing to lose inches but not pounds on the scale. They are losing fat and toning muscle, and they look great.
In Fitness Success and on video I lay out a three phase plan that includes exercise and diet. The diet encourages easy weight loss by going through steps in each phase. It is healthy and easy to incorporate.
The exercise plan is just as important as the diet, if not more. You need an exercise plan to jumpstart your metabolism. Also exercise in the aerobic element of a plan works the heart. If you implement 40 minutes of aerobic/cardio workout 3 times a week you will have a loss in weight. Now the diet is your fuel. I explain more about the need of a balance diet later. Remember; increase your activity level while decreasing your calories with a nutritional diet.
I believe your easy weight loss should be done in increments. You should not try to crash diet by cutting everything out of your diet at once. Also you should build muscle and aerobic endurance, not subject yourself to defeat or injury.
This is where I differ from most Fitness Trainers. I found, like you probably have also, that they may want you to do their programs, at their pace and at their level of resistance.
I understand that you did not wake up one morning and found yourself obese. It may have taken you a long time to get to where you are. You and I have a goal to be successful in losing that weight and becoming fit. We know that obesity is unhealthy.
The second challenge is maintaining your health. Obesity is very hazardous to your health. I can not say it any more plainly than that. Obesity is the leading cause of heart disease and diabetes in our country. People who are overweight put more stress on their joints, heart, and internal organs. The reasons to start a fitness program are vital for a long and healthy life.
Taking into consideration that you may be 50 pounds over weight, it would not be healthy to deplete your nutritional needs and start an extensive exercise program. For example if you were to get up one morning and say I am going to run 5 miles at a 7 minute pace, odds are you will not be able to complete that run. That is because you are carrying 50 extra pounds that you bones and joints have to address.
What I propose is to lose a few pounds upfront to relieve those bones and joints. Have a nutritional diet plan that allows you to have the nutrition for recovery. Additionally we should concentrate on your flexibility to reduce injury. Now that is a an easy weight loss plan.
Finally the third challenge is to maintain your bodily functions. Again this just an overview, I will explain in more detail how fats, carbohydrates and protein are vital elements of all healthy diet plans. But eliminating fat or carbohydrates from your diet are not healthy alternatives for easy weight loss. Your body is a machine that requires certain nutrients to function. Carbohydrates, fats and proteins are requirements for your body.
